Jerry, they have 4 wheelbase options: 144"-164.5", 192" and 204".
The shortest version, 144" might accept an 8' bed in length, however the straight ladder type frame would probably make the bed sit high and look a tad funny???
The pickup wheel bases are 140.5" and 160.5"
Non of these dimensions mean anything because you really need to know the back of cab to axle center line dimension to determine if any 2008 bed will fit. That is because each wheelbase can be ordered with different cabs, standard, or quad. That changes the back of cab to axle centerline dimension.
Unfortunately, Dodge doesn't show that info on their spec sheet, so it's tape measure time....= )
