If memory serves, on my 2001 Dodge, when I installed the controller, I had to install a fuse for the circuit. It sounds like you don't have power, so check the owner's manual for the fuse location that goes with the assesories, or brake controller, or just hunt around. Don't the new trucks have two fuse boxes? One under the dash and one under the hood?
