I am having the exact same problem. I start out with a relatively soft pedal but after using the brakes a couple of times the pedal gets rock hard with no play. My brakes drag and the lights even stay on. I have been told it is a bad master cylinder. I have kept all of my trips short and go every other day to prolong removing the master. Keep me posted
