I'm having a problem with brakes on a WC-54. The hydraulic system builds up pressure and won't release. I can release the pressure on the wheel cylinders by shortening the actuator rod, but once I use the brakes the pressure builds back up. If I start a drive with very little pedal, that is, with a great deal of free travel before the master cylinder engages, the pressure builds up to the point where I have a rock hard pedal with no free play, and the brakes are dragging. This vehicle has a M-37 master cylinder which was obtained as a rebuilt cylinder from one of the reputable PW parts dealers ( which is to clarify that I did not put a kit in this myself). Can some one give me a clue as to the solution?
