Richard Petty did not drive a Dodge for the 1969 Racing Season.
Richard Petty did not drive a Plymouth or any other Mopar Product for the 1969 Season.
Richard Petty drove a FORD, sorry ford, for the 1969 Season.
Petty wanted to race the new superior Dodge Daytona in 1969, but Plymouth would not let him, so he went to next best ford.
This prompted Plymouth to introduced their winged car, Superbird, to bring him home, which it did.
Freakin' Ford racing TRAITOR! Can't say I blame him though.
