A while back there was an air show at a local airport. There was a DC3, B17, & B24 along with many WW II fighters. They were offering rides in the DC3 & B17. I wish I coulda afforded em as it woulda been so cool. On the Gooney Bird, they said they'd serve champagne with the filght. HA!

People don't realize how loud them B17's are when they take off. Can ya imagine a whole sky full of em like during the war? Must have really been sumpthin to see.
