Seem's odd that someone who owns an antique vehicle, and maintains and repairs it, does'nt feel like he is capable of wiring an outlet in his home.

Yes this is a safety issue and should be done right! But with the proper resources(info. tools, common sense, etc) it can be done by just about anyone( I say anyone because about 4 years ago while I was in Co. hunting my wife dropped two new outlets and a phone line in the dinning room. She got out the books, looked up the info, went to the store and bought what she needed, got MY tools and dropped the lines and wired it all up). The key to just about any job is... do it safe, do it right and make it neat. She did all of this.

As for hiring a professional I don't think they will do as good a job as I will do on most things because time is money. The sooner they are done the sooner they are off to the next appt. to make more money. I on the other hand have all day to get the job done and done right(not just working).

I guess it's like making one cut on a piece of angle iron and dilling eight holes in it. Just too much for some, a man has to know his limitations.

Dwight(Professional Paint Drying..... you apply it and I'll dry it! (competitive rates))
