I am having some difficulty understanding the differences between the grills on the W300 trucks. Some I see have the turn signals turned vertical, toward the inside of the head lights. Others, like the one I am restoring, have them below the head lights and they have a triangular shape. For 1971, which is correct? I have seen photos back to 68 that show both versions on any year. Thanks...Chris. By the way, the W300 is very much alive and well as it made it's maiden shake down cruise on Sunday. It runs like a top and the parking brake works REALLY good now. I seem to have aquired quite a few wheel chocks in the last few weeks, thanks to some very forgiving friends and neighbors. Hopefully pictures to follow soon. Maybe a volunteer to post?
