Jerry, I think your right on about that. I think one of the cool things about a WDX is that they are so over built, so to speek, thus their empty weight. I've been looking at mine as I build it and have deceided to add a couple of leafs to the front springs to counter all the dead weight from all the steel. I'm so happy I put the 4 wheel discs on it, it stops all that weight on a dime. Next to put a dump body on and add more steel, ha ha! I'm almost there!
