I repaired the plastic (nylon) radiator on my honda car last spring with a product somebody here recommended called "plastic welder" that was available at my local hardware store. It's a 2-part epoxy-like adhesive with a strong solvent smell. It's held all summer against hot pressurized water and glycol, so I think it would likely work on your light housing. I had previously tried JBWeld on the radiator, but even with the surfaced cleaned and roughed up, it peeled right off when it got hot. If it's abs or styrene, you can probably solvent-weld it just fine using the solvent adhesive used for black plastic drain pipe. If it's polyethylene, nothing will glue it, but I doubt it's made out of that. The "plastic welder" stuff is thick enough that you can pile it up over the break on the inside for added strength. If you do that, sand the inside surface so it'll have something to grab on to.
