the reason your injection pump has gone twice is because of the lift pump. Mopar likes to try to get away with installing just a lift pump when there's been a failure. Unfortunately when you lose fuel pressure...you lose your injection pump too...it just usually will work for a few more months until it's ruined...kind of like running an engine out of oil.
If your truck is off warranty & you want the best fuel system known to man...no need to install one in the tank where it becomes a huge pain in the butt....these are the best most reliable pumps available & with the best filtration money can buy.....
