and specifically illustrates why I will NEVER buy into the born again ideology and also why I have been pushed away from Christianity.

It shows a complete lack of respect for other people and what they believe.

If one looks at history, the number of conflicts over religion by far outnumber others. To me, this has been and is a complete waste of time...

Frankly, I come to this site to discuss Power Wagon issues. I didn't ask for nor do I have any interest in anyone else's religious views.

Further, the whole concept of being "born again" I find a joke. I was raised in the the church, have believed in my religion my entire life, and don't walk around beating a drum about it. I don't find it necessary to be born again, nor do I appreciate being preached to by anyone who at some point in life has decided to get it together and now feels the need to try to convince others.

Instead I try very hard to live the best life I can and show that I'm a decent person by example. Walk the talk so to speak.

What I don't do is attempt to spread my beliefs to other people by preaching, whether through subtle means or direct confrontation.

Lastly, the major flaw is the whole Christian ideology is as follows:

To buy into the concept that a newborn infant that is 1 second old has already sinned and needs to be saved I find very sad. Further, the concept that it can't go to heaven (whatever that is) or know God without some sort of interaction or approval from other men before it will be allowed into heaven I find pathetic and flawed.

I'm not buying it and will not respect ANY religion that preaches such concepts.

ALL of the religions have become so twisted and off course that I find ALL of them sad and pathetic. It's my opinion that each individual should worship what he believes in privately and respect others as they would like to be respected.

Now, can we get back to our trucks please?
