Kim, you have to give us more information. Are you talking about the drivers seat, or the passenger seat. Do you have the proper components to begin with ??? Drivers seat has a frame and 2 sets of springs. Passenger seat has a set of back springs and usually foam rubber for the bottom. If you do not have the springs, then foam rubber of differant densities can be used to change the softness Tom @ Snake River
