Here's an update of this week's progress on Wendel:
- Insulated the doors and treated the floor with rust converter
- Removed all brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, springs, etc. (Wheel cylinders were frozen up and worthless, One of the shoes lost its lining, Drums are in great shape)
- Had the tires taken off the rims for blasting and painting (Inside of rims look brand new)
- New tubes and flaps arrived last week for the Michelin 11.00x16 XZLs
- Rebuilt vacuum brake booster and new brake lines arrived this week
Thanks to John S. for removing the small pulley from the 40 amp generator that came with the truck and putting on the correct large pulley.
Sandblasting and painting the frame is next.
