I had it rebuilt and checked 3 times by two different carb specialists and a very good mechanic shop! No one could figure why they couldn't run it leaner. In the end a good fellow PW acquaintance came on over and did his special trick to it. He took apart the carb, set the float, reassembled the carb, and blew thru the inlet tube with the carb. upright. Air passed thru. Then he turned it upside down blew. If air passed thru, he opened it up to adjust. Repeat until upright, air blows. Upside down, no air blows. My PW now runs like a gem!! My total costs were $0 for him and about $300 for everyone else.
