I'm sure there are many easier and cheaper methods, but I recommend rust-oleum's, 9400 system RUST-O-THANE POLYURETHAN.The colors are limited but it is designed for use on trucks,buses,construction-highway-and mining equip.as well as the chemical,food/beverage indus.Ithas a tile-like,superhigh gloss finish and is superior to epoxies and oil-based enamels in color/gloss retention as well as corrosion-chemical-impact,and abrasion resistance. Its not cheap, but leaves you felling like your truck got the paint job that will endure for a lifetime. Also it is a 2-component system, meaning you must use 1 part activator to 1 part finish which might be tricky for your first try at painting.anyway goodluck
