There seemed to be a need of basic PW info about year/model differences, so heres a piece of what I believe to be the facts. The 46'WDX,C-B models, and the WM300 PW's are the same basic truck w/ a few minor changes from model to model !If from a distance of about 50yrds,you viewed all these model PW's head on,the only way you could tell a WDX from a WM300 would be if you had good enough vision to makeout the lack of cowl lights on the WM300,but the WM300 had them up to 1963,I know,I own two 64'WM300's,w/o cowl lights.Early WDX PW's had a different dash gauge configuration, mounted behind the steering wheel. When they changed this I could not say.WM300 PW's had the gauges mounted in the lower center of the dash w/the speedo behind the wheel. The beds varied from time to time, the hoods are slightly longer on the later models w/251 eng.,meaning the radiator was moved slightly forward. But for all practical purposes, they are the same truck w/at least 95% of parts interchanging. You who are new to the PW experience, will just have to start reading, looking, and asking all the million questions about PW's.Bit by bit you'll come to learn the differences between WDX-WM300 PW's and all the dodge military vehicles that inspired the famous military styled, civilian "Dodge Power Wagon".If I was in error about anything, I'm sorry! Maybe some of the old PW sages, will share some more knowledge with you!Several years before the PW advertiser and PW websites,I thought I owned some kind of military vehicle! Down here,we say ,ParWagons are Mobedda cause they got MoPar!
