Have fuel pump problems on a 1941 VC hardcab and cant find a replacement. Can the pump be rebuilt?
Problem seems to be the diaphragm, which appears to be made out of leather. Fuel pump part number is 1523647. Cast numbers on left side of the block under starter is 1315529-1. Parts vendor is telling me to put an electric pump in, but I'd rather stay original. Any info on the engine or pump or info on a rebuilder is greatly appreciated. Thanks/JCF
