Jeff: One important thing to remember is that although you may get a truck for $1,000-2,000 you will probably end up putting in a whole lot more money on that in restoration. My opinion is that spend as much as you can afford. Let someone else take the loss on dollars invested. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but, I have done a ton of work to my M37 and there is no way I could get all the money back if I chose to sell it. Look in Military Vehicles Magazine. There are some very nice trucks out there in the $4,000-6,000 price range. Don't sweat the transportation costs on a really nice truck. These things are money pits and $500-1,000 for shipping is worth it for the right vehicle. If some guy thinks he has a solid gold truck and is asking too much keep looking, on M37s I have noticed that if you ask 5 different people what a truck is worth you will get a very wide spread. Be patient and you will be very happy. Regards, Andy Tierney
