I recentley started working on a np 435 that i aquired . I was going to replace gaskets and seals.In the cleaning process i noticed some corrosion on some places on the gears.I disassembled the complete transmission after i saw the corrosion to check every part and i found no more .My question :Is this corrision serious? the pitting is not deep,but is not anything that can be easily removed. If i clean the gears as best i can and use this transmission......Has this caused damage that will come back in gear failure or noise ?I know that without seeing what i have it will be tough for anybody to know exactly what i have! Any information is fine . thanks
