Town's called Roslyn, Washington. High up in the Cascades mountians. Big coal mining place at the turn of last century but the last mine shut down in 1964. Other than that it's only claim to fame is that all the outdoor scenes on the show Northern Exposure were filmed here, and of course the Manly Man Festival. Employment is small town stuff. I think in the only one in the Vol. Fire Department who dos'nt drive a logging truck!!
Also I guess we are the Snowmobile capital of Washington. One really nice thing is that theres lots of old Dodges around!!
