A Hemi for free sounds like a deal, but consider this, depending on the engine type and size, it may not have any collector value, and may cost more in parts than its worth to rebuild. The word "HEMI" perks up a lot of ears, but figure out what you've got before getting too excited.
If its free, you can't go wrong and its worth getting, but it is usually free for a reason.
The marine application will certainly mean that
some parts you will need are missing or not interchangeable, if you plan to use it in an automotive application.
