The industrial battery stores usually have a variety of plastic battery boxes for sale. Marine supply stores also do, though everything "marine" is expensive. It's certainly worth looking to see what they have. Even if you have to fab a mounting bracket of some kind, the plastic box takes care of most of the work and it'll never rust.
