The one unimog I drove was an early sixties model with all stock running gear and I think the tires were taller than stock and it was the most underpowered thing I have ever driven. It made a PW seem like a rocket. But I am pretty sure it was due to the huge Michelin XLs it had. Just not enough power to turn a 45 in tall tire. I still like a nice unimog though.
