I did my first one a few weeks ago. I also ordered one from VPW and had to cut it (they told me I may have to cut it). I didn't like the idea but didn't want to wait on another. I cut it at the splice location and glued the two ends back together with 3M sealant.

I used a dull puddy knife to work it in. I had the same problem Chris did at the corners but once it set closed in the sun for a few days, it stayed in place and formed to the cab, or set as Paul indicated.

I didn't use sealant to hold it in.
