I agree. The only thing that I can think is that perhaps when we were checking it out the air locker had been dis-engaged. I thought it was engaged but wouldnt testify in court to it.
If we were under the assumption that it was engaged, out hypothesis would have been correct. With it out, we were just spinning the entire left axle and the broken stub of the right one.
Or, its another cosmic mystery, never to be solved by mere mortals!
