I used oak from Home Depot, cut it on my tablesaw, jigsaw around the fenders, router to let in bed strips. Let me know and I'll come help. If I remember all wood and new carriage bolts cost me around $260 out the door. You'll also need some 3/16" C channel for the supports, unless you are going to find some originals or buy repros. I modified my mounting by laying a 1x treated wood on the frame, with 1/4" x 2 1/2" flat steel on top, with the bed crossmembers welded on that. The bed was then throughbolted in the back, and custom made Ubolts held it in the front to allow more flex. Total time to fab wood, and install bed less than 2 days.
