I just had to blow mine out yesterday. Now it idles fine.

Simple remove the idle mix screw, and blow high pressure air into the hole. Since the idle jet has small holes, it will plug up with small particles. Then, when you blow it out, the crud goes back into the bowl, and later will pass right through the main circuit since it is too small to plug the klarger passages in the main circuit. In primitive conditions, you can cross a couple plug wires and the back fire might do the same thing.

Or maybe your points are set too narrow? Do you have a dwell meter?
