I got the steel, side angle strips from Mar-K. I spot welded them on to the bedsides, and they fit perfectly around the wheel wells.
I am going to paint them the same color as the bed sides. For the "center" strips, I will get them in stainless steel - to use between the boards.
From what I have learned, for stock, the side strips set on top of the boards, but the "central" strips rest in rabbets in the boards.
Mar-K has a nice catalog to refer to. Contact them and they will send one out.
