I too have a 318 and NP-435. I bought a Chelsea Series 352 Bi-directional PTO from Brookline Machine Co, in Buffalo, NY. The phone is 716-891-5611. I spoke with Ron, but recently was told he may have left. So probably anyone in parts can help you. They bent over backwards to get me set up correctly
from PTO thru new drive shaft and joints. Give them a call, I bet they have the answers you need. They had no problem talking about the older transmissions and PTOs.
