I have a V8 in my Carryall WC 53. In warm wether 90 degress plus I have had problems overheating. I have made progress this year. I took a PW shroud and reworked it to fit better. I replaced the fan with a 15" fan with more blades. The new one is a stainless flex fan that is fairly stiff and the blade supports are very heavy duty. I can't believe how heavy it is. I also flushed the system and put a new overflow tank in.

I still heat up to just over 210 degrees while ideling in a parade in Reno. Last year it was much worse. However, this year it will cool down to 185 immediately as I started down the road. It would not doo that last year.

I believe that putting in AC would be too much at this time. However, the PW has a larger top tank on the radiador than my WC53 has and that would help a little. You would need a very large pusher fan but your will be very tight with a AC radiator and a n electric fan between the grill bars and the radiator.
