Tires should always be inflated to mfgr specs
on door sticker for road driving
air carries ALL the load all the tire does is
hold the air in place in fact tires were / are
referred to as "Chambers"
the load range index ie C D E F G H etc is the
index of the amount of pressure the tire can
take.
tires must always be checked and inflated when cold.
