Coming back from 4-wheeling in the desert at Ocatillo Wells, we would take S2 to go around Banner grade. A slight detour at Lake Henshaw would put us at a turnout along the San Luis Rey river, where we could catch us a mess o' crawdads. Boil em up, and butter, in the cool breeze of the mountain pass. Especially after the weekend of getting roasted down in the Carrizo Wash.
