One note, the four pieces of gasket will appear longer than needed, but this is intentional. The ends compress together for a good seal. I used gasket sealant on both sides of the gaskets and especially at the ends.
When I changed mine, I also changed the rear main seal, couldn't tell which one was leaking.
Mine was easy but I had the engine out and raised overhead with the tractor.
