You could not have picked a better place. Davis and Thomas will pretty much be our home base for the Potomac Highlands Tour in October. At least, that's were we'll go for some trail rides and re-fueling.
I can heartily recommend the Purple Fiddle if you like Old Time music, mountainmade.com if you like WV arts and crafts, and the Blackwater Brewing Company if you like suds.
There was a WDX PW cab mounted on a W300 frame for sale on Courtland Road last time I was there. Plus, he has the full MU-2 winch set up in the garage. It's about a mile off Route 32 as you head south towards Canaan Valley.
