The CTD probably doesn't need it. I notice that none of the Mercedes derived vehicles are covered such as Sprinter and the Freightliner built 4500 and 5500, but Cummins does back these for 100,000 and the new transmissions are pretty good.
Speaking of transmissions, Dodge had developed a new technology "double clutch" seamless shifting 7 speed manual transmission that shifts like an automatic (it still has a shifter).
Daimler had killed it, but the New Chrysler is bringing it back. It's rated to 60,000 GCVW, so look for it to allow the Cummins to be pumped up to power levels that have been unseen before in a pick-up.
