Hello, I'm trying to get my 58 W500 running. It has a V8 with a tattered sticker on the valve cover that says "Power Giant." I'm assuming it's a 315? I don't know if any others we're offered that year. It had a cobbled up set of points in that were modified, but they are so butchered that they wont open in the maxed-out adjustment. Sounds simple enough; go to Napa and get a new set for a 315. Yeah right! I've been through four sets, and none come close to fitting. There is a tag on the distributor that reads; Chrysler 1792703, and below that; Autolite IBM 4101A 9M. I of course gave that info to the parts guys, but they are having mucho trouble. Does anyone have any suggestions or better yet, the right part number for points.
