I recently ordered a product from a catalog called Griot's Garage called Rust Remover. I thought I'd give it a try to save a little money on replacing EVERTHING on my '48 FFPW. Boy does this stuff work GREAT. I soaked some nuts and bolts in it over nite, and the nuts free spun on! A little spray and a rag soaked with the stuff wrapped around a part removed most if not all of the rust and get to bare metal. If anyone's interested, www.griotsgarage.com
item number 11228 for a one gallon size @39.99
item number 11217 for a 35 oz size @ 12.99
By the way, I am about three days from a rolling chassis. I'm mounting my front and rear axles today and tomorrow.

And I must publically thank Steven Fowler for the patience and understanding in payments for my engines, transfer case, transmission and radiator. My wife was hospitalized last Sept and October for about six weeks and we fell considerably far behind on bills. Steven has been very patient on getting the funds to complete my project. Thank you Steven
