the hose will eventually fail if you leave
the flared end on the line & force the rubber hose over it
stretches it toooo much
but that is probably not your current issue
if you are using auto zone or other chain
store parts that could be the problem
did you have your gas tank boiled out (cleaned) ?? that was a problem on our 48
local radiator repair shop fixed it up and
now it works fine - is the fuel in the filter
clean ??
