Degreasing before electrolytic rust removal

I've been using some generic orange (scented) degreaser on parts before putting them into the electrolytic solution, with varying results. Anyone have a favorite degreaser to get all the oil/gunk/grease off parts before submerging into their solution?

Also, i find that 12v at 2-5amps is more then adequate for removing rust from small to medium parts in a short period of time.
