Yes, I have one of the IH reverse rotation PS boxes. I can't recall the exact vehicle it came off of but it definitely is off an IH. It would bolt right onto my '73 Travelall which currently has manual steering and does just fine as such with the bias ply 950-16.5 tires.
Anyway, I think your term of 'similar' is correct(I don't have a Dodge box to compare).
