There are many factors involved with you towing the PW with the Sub. If you had a good strong receiver hitch on the Sub and a very good trailer with brakes and able to handle the weight of the PW (keeping the PW's weight on the trailer and not the tongue which would put weight on your Sub.), used your head, drove 5-10mph under the speed limit. Planned your route good (IE Stay off the freeways of big citys) you most likely will make it home with the PW.

Your Subs motor will probably do the job. Its the suspension, brakes and tires (D or E load range most half tons dont have these tires) that would be the limiting factor. If something were to happen while towing the PW you may or may not be able to recover from what ever just happened. Being a panic stop or a tire blow out. If this happens you will find out real fast what the others are talking about on here.

If you dont have a trailer that is able to handle the 6000lbs dont even think about it. Dont overload a trailer. You can bend them or break them. Burn out wheel bearings or axles. Have rims come apart or tires blow from too much wieght. The hitch could even break and come loose from the Sub and then you will have problems. Lots of things to consider.

Any one of these problems could leave you stranded, hurt or dead.

Tieing down the PW on the trailer. You do not want the PW coming off the trailer or coming forward into your back seat because you had to stop real fast. Chains and boomers/binders are not cheap. Whats the weight rating of your hitch and the ball?

Lots of things to consider before hauling home the PW.
