These are neat old trucks no matter what the vintage, from the original WWII units to the 1978 W400 shown here. I purchased a '72 W200 ambulance last winter with 16,700 miles on it. Looks a lot like the W400, but has a Dana 70 front axle to go with the Dana 60 rear (with traction lock), a 4 spd manual trans, NP205 transfer case and a PTO front winch. Have tried to do some research on mine through the TACOM history office, but it seems to be the victim of budget cuts.
