Mistakes on titles are very common, that is why I always check the door jamb tags, or frame numbers to double check.
If you plan to resell that truck you might want to get the DMV to straighten out the title first. Many states require any vehicle brought in from out of state to have the VIN inspected, and you do not want a buyer to find out the truck can not be titled once they get it home.
Most of the time mistakes like this can be fixed with little effort by the DMV, they understand that small mistakes happen over the years.
