I posted on this before, but to recap, the gas gauge on my M-37 reads 2/3 full, regardless of how much fuel is in the tank. I had this same problem last year, I replaced the sending unit and everything worked fine....till this year.
I did try running an extra ground wire from the sending unit hold down screws to the frame. This made no difference. I also tightened all the hold down screws...again with no change.
Any ideas? I suppose I can change the sending unit again but I think this not the root cause.
