i think that if we targeted the opium, you'd really see the insurgents and unfriendlies lose it big time. you'd also have to contend with the warlords running the show. since we're being accused of it anyway, we should take the oil in the region and use it to defray our war costs. we should offer low cost oil to anyone else that puts boots on the ground and use any surplus to build fences at the us borders. any surplus should be used to supply each teenage middleastern male with a satelite dish, baywatch on an endless loop, cold beer and a subscription to playboy. give 'em a taste of what they are missing and they will surely stop fighting!
