What's sick is when the old guy that bought them all 40 years ago when there used to be a local army base is in the nursing home and the yuppies in the new subdivision next door get the new county code compliance department to declare it a "blight" and pay a scrap guy to haul them off and scrap them, putting the cost of the scrapping as a lien against the property so that when the old guy finally kicks the bucket his heirs will find out that the county really owns the place and so they'll have to sell it to the developer who will build another 160 acres of tract houses and sell them to another batch of yuppies who will complain to the code compliance department about the smell from the dairy barn next door... That's what's sick.
