As some of you may remember, I've been going thru a tire massacree with Tire Rack since March about some Kumho tires I got for my D from them.
WARNING: Kumho tires are NOT good for trucks that are used as trucks. They are VERY popular with the race car set as they're made with a soft compound. I just discovered that they even make tires that give off multi color smoke when ya do burn outs.
With LESS than 2K on em, they are fallin apart. Even though Tire Rack claims I'm NOT getting a run around, well, it was MARCH when I 1st contacted them about this issue.
They had me do many different things & go to different places locally to have em checked out. The one guy says the damage is consistant with a rear wheel drive vehicle doin burnouts. My D is AWD, and DOESN'T do burnouts.
I already see the writing on the wall, OWNER ABUSE. A term I learned from Allstate & Dodge. I think that's the catch all to get outa stuff phrase. Now I admit to drivin hard, but I don't abuse things. Hell, I want my stuff to last. Oh well, NEVER a dull moment in Uggville.
