The Last Western line Job was in 1956 from
Courtney to Nanaimo 230kv
The main Western Line yard was in Troutdale
Oregon
There might be some of the trucks lurking somewhere in the Northwest but they were
well used as can be seen by the vintage pictures I think that most were 51 or 52s
as i can remember going into a clearing in
the woods (so to speak) near troutdale & seeing 15 or 20 pws parked on either side of
a clearing (the job was from Big Eddy to Troutdale) 325kv
the signs I had done for the 48 are my 50year
time capsule
