Keep that in mind when you try to seal anydamthing. House, car doors, boats, anydamthing. Trying to seal it just leads to rust, dry rot, mold... I've sure seen old paint jobs gone like a goose after being covered with a plastic sheet. Blue tarps last just long enoyugh to ruin the metal, then they blow away. Canvas lets the vapor out.
